How do I clean my LeMieux stirrups?

LeMieux stirrup irons can easily be wiped clean. They should be stored in a clean and dry place. Stirrup leathers should be cleaned and conditioned like the rest of your leather tack. Will LeMieux stirrups help with joint pain?

The footbed of LeMieux stirrups is designed to absorb impact with a cushioning, shock-absorbing layer, which is designed to help relieve joint pain in riders who suffer with pain in the ankles, knees or hips while riding. An angled eyelet and inclined footbed is also likely to help relieve pain. Stirrup leathers that are wider and/or feature a single piece of leather allow closer contact between the rider's leg and the horse, and many riders claim they relieve joint pain and offer stability to the lower leg. What size are LeMieux stirrups?

LeMieux stirrup irons are currently available in one size, which is suitable for most adults, teenagers and older children. Stirrup leathers are available in different sizes to cater for different leg lengths and styles of riding. A rider riding in a dressage saddle will ride with longer stirrups than someone riding in a jump saddle, and a tall rider is likely to require a longer length than a smaller one, or a child.
