The LeMieux Vector Control Stirrups are a new generation of technically advanced and lightweight stirrups that retain a classic style expected from LeMieux.
Machined from aviation-grade aluminium offers an impressive strength to weight ratio, making them lighter than most stirrups on the market at just 372g, whilst not compromising on stability. The ergonomic footplate of the Control Stirrup is set at 0º with a cross-track grip surface with embedded hardened steel pins to provide maximum security of the boot. The footplate is supported by a twin balance arch system that distributes the weight evenly across the base of the stirrup frame. The apex of the frame is recessed and off-set, encouraging a 45° outward orientation which makes it easier for the rider to locate the optimum angle for the foot and regain a lost stirrup.
An integrated arm has a two-stage release system, preventing unintentional opening. The spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the mainframe meaning that when under maximum pressure, such as landing over a fence, the rider's weight is spread evenly across the stirrup, preventing the outside dropping and flexing. When pressure is put onto the arm of the stirrup, such as if the rider falls, the arm releases allowing the foot to come out of the stirrup and preventing it from getting stuck.
Competition legal (FEI, British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping).
It is important to note that no stirrup of this design (with a quick-release arm) is 100% guaranteed to open in the event of a fall. There are several factors, such as a fall of the horse, a loose girth causing the saddle to slip and a slow or unusual angle of exit that may not generate enough lateral force to open the release arm. This is very rare but users must be aware that no stirrup is completely foolproof in every eventuality.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
