How to care for LeMieux Clothing
The majority of LeMieux clothing for men, women and children is machine washable at 30°C, check the clothing label before washing.
LeMieux recommends that many items be washed inside out using non-biological washing products.
It is advisable to wash similar colours together.
Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean.

LeMieux suede and cotton saddle pads are machine washable on a normal 30°C cycle, it is recommended to use a wash bag. Please ensure the washing machine drum is large enough to safely accommodate the pad size. Please ensure all hook and loop fastenings are closed firmly.
Pull the saddle pad into the correct shape whilst damp to maintain shape during drying, and air dry away from the heat source (do not tumble dry).

Straighten cotton after washing into the correct shape whilst damp to maintain shape during drying.
Avoid using strong fabric conditioners.

Warning: In rare cases, dye from black wool items may be from wool items giving a slight blue tint. Staining of grey coats can occur.

Leather Care
LeMieux's finest quality leathers are pre-oiled. Leather is a natural material which needs your care to stay at its best.
Cleaning and maintenance
Leaving your leather dirty, damp or drying it too quickly can cause stiffening and cracks.
After daily use, lightly wipe with lukewarm water and saddle soap. Air dry.
For a deep clean, take apart. Clean thoroughly, using lukewarm water and top-quality saddle soap. Air dry. Treat with a premium leather balm or oil, and buff leather and metalwork with a soft cloth.
Always store in a cool, clean and dry place.

How to clean LeMieux Fly Masks
LeMieux fly masks are recommended to be hand washed but as machine washable up to 30°C.

LeMieux Wellies
Taking boots off: Use your hands or a boot jack to take your foot out carefully. Using a step or the other welly will cause damage to the heel.
Cleaning and maintenance : Storing your wellies dirty, damp, in direct sunlight or drying them too quickly can cause colour changes and cracks.
After every wear, clean with water. It’s best to do this straight away as wet mud washes off more easily than dried-on dirt. Never use detergent as it damages rubber.
Air dry naturally, including the insides. Never dry next to a heat source. Crumpled newspaper helps dry the lining.
If storing your wellies for a long time, clean and dry them thoroughly and store them away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. LeMieux recommends using a boot bag for storage.
