How to Measure
As Le Chameau Boots can be used with thick and thin socks they prefer to give you the choice of how tight the boots are on your calf. If you do plan to wear thick socks it is best to take your calf measurement with the socks on to help give you the best fit.
The Boots Measurements given at height from floor to top of the boot and the widest girth of the calf to allow you to decide what size is best for you.

Rubber Boot Care
Your Le Chameau boots need care and attention to remain in good condition. Rubber boots need to be regularly cleaned with water and allowed to dry naturally.
You might notice a white powdery "Bloom" on the boots this is perfectly normal and is insoluble particles that have risen to the surface, which is largely due to the characteristic of a premium product made from high-grade rubber and will not compromise the durability or performance of the boots.
To keep your Le Chameau boots at their best here are some tips.
Use a boot jack to avoid damaging the heel when removing boots.
To clean the boots with nothing more than water and a brush. Detergents can damage the boots.
Let your boots air dry, close proximity to a heat source as this can lead to the rubber drying out and cracking, never dry your boots in direct contact with a heat source this can lead to the boots being damaged.
Use a silicone spray and polish using a soft, dry cloth. Silicone spray creates an impermeable layer to help protect the rubber from the elements.
Keep your boots in a dry and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and away from any heat source.
If the linings of the boots do get wet, it is important to dry the lining thoroughly before using the boots again. Crumpled newspapers can be helpful.
It is important that you never leave your boots in a damp condition, near a heat source or folded as this can damage the boots.
