Science Supplements Complete Electrolytes Syringe is an extra gentle electrolyte that is specifically designed for all horses in work, which can help them to perform to their highest standard. A highly palatable and fully balanced electrolyte formulated to help replace the electrolytes your horse loses during exercise. The loss of electrolytes can severely limit your horse's performance during competitions, and choosing less palatable electrolytes can irritate the stomach and intestines. Made with Microencapsulation Technology the electrolytes dissolve in the small intestine where electrolyte uptake is optimal, and is both palatable and gentle on the stomach, unlike ordinary electrolytes.
The five key electrolytes are important for keeping your horse healthy; they aid nerve, digestive, muscle, kidney, lung and heart function and are important for maintaining normal hydration. It is important for all horses in work to receive extra electrolytes to replace those they lose through sweat and bodily excretions, the amount of electrolytes lost correlates to how hard the horse is working and the temperature. The average horse will lose around 5 litres of sweat on a usual day, which can cause them to lose around 50g of vital electrolytes which need to be replenished. The best way to keep your horse's electrolytes stable is to incorporate the Complete Electrolyte Syringe into their feed every day. It can take months to restore your horse's electrolyte balance after a month of training, so it is vital to replenish as you go.

Pony - approximately 250kg ½ syringe
Horse - approximately 500kg 1 syringe
Large Horse - over 750kg 1 syringe
This product can be used daily or following hard work or excessive sweating, for example during or following transport. Also suitable for administration during prolonged exercise or competition. Always ensure unlimited access to water.
Active Ingredients:
Per 60g syringe Complete Electrolytes delivers: Sodium 10g; Chloride 19g; Potassium 3.8g; Calcium 0.3g; Magnesium 0.1g.
Composition:
Sodium Chloride, Glycerine, Sorbitol, Potassium Chloride, Glucose syrup, Tri-Sodium Citrate, purified water, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride.
Analytical constituents:
Crude Protein <0.15%; Crude Fibre <1%; Crude Oils & Fats 18.4%; Crude Ash 57.3%; Sodium 14%; Calcium 1%; Moisture 9.8%.
Additives (per kg):
Technological Additives: Xanthan gum (E415) 5g; Potassium Sorbate (E202) 1g; Sodium Benzoate (1k301) 1g. Sensory Additives: Flavourings: EC permitted mint flavour 0.1g.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
