Details
Saracen Competition Fit Balancer is a highly nutritious, low intake performance balancer in the unique form of a mix. Provides a higher level of fibre and oil which supports stamina, and the inclusion of micronised maize helps to provide a higher energy level when compared to traditional pelleted feed balancers. The blend of energy sources supports a controlled energy release helping to maintain a calm and trainable temperament.
A red apple flavour and the unique inclusion of Palatability Plus (P+). Formulated to encourage even the fussiest of feeders and those with limited appetites, to maintain optimal feed intake when travelling and competing where nutritional uptake is so important.
Competition Fit Balancer contains quality sources of protein to ensure a supply of essential amino acids to help support muscle development, cell renewal, tissue, and muscle repair. "Super-Fibre" sources provide highly digestible fibre which supports and encourages a healthy digestive system and microflora balance in the hindgut, as well as helping to encourage water intake and water retention in the hindgut to maintain hydration.
Live yeast and Acid Buf support an optimum stomach environment and help manage those horses with compromised digestive function. The use of a live yeast has also been shown to help support feed and forage digestibility and maintain a stable gut flora population during times of stress. The inclusion of these ingredients is especially useful for fussy horses and those prone to Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome.
The inclusion of micronised maize not only helps to support additional palatability but also helps to ensure that muscle glycogen and energy reserve stores are not depleted, thus supporting optimum recovery rates post-exercise, and reducing the onset of early fatigue. This allows performance horses to train, compete and recover throughout the season.

Delivery & Returns
We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
