Details
Horslyx Pro Digest Balancer contains a combination of ingredients to support the digestive system from the stomach to the hindgut while licking enhances saliva production which helps buffer stomach acidity. Slippery Elm and Seaweed Meal are included as a source of mucilage while a prebiotic supports beneficial gut bacteria and a live probiotic yeast help provide a buffering action in the hindgut.
With increased magnesium levels and low starch content, Pro Digest Balancer is suitable for any horse but is especially aimed at those prone to digestive upsets. Ideal for older horses with poor teeth which struggle to eat hard feed and lose condition.
A spiced apple flavouring is included to tempt fussy feeders and the high specification Horslyx Balancer package includes the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals and trace elements required to balance the deficiencies in forage and grazing.
Ingredients
Mucilage: Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) and Seaweed Meal (Ascophyllum nodosum) as both contain mucilage. Mucilage, also known as soluble fibre, can be particularly beneficial in horse with inflamed mucous membranes and digestive conditions. Mucilage absorbs moisture within the stomach and can form a protective layer reducing the effect of excess acid on the stomach which may be helpful in terms of gastric ulcers.
MOS: Prebiotic yeast extract containing MOS (Mannanoligosaccharides), which helps to flush pathogens out of the gut and Beta-glucans which helps stimulate the growth of beneficial gut bacteria resulting in a healthier balance of bacteria and so can lessen digestive upsets.
Actisaf: A live probiotic yeast to help support digestive health and maintain healthy gut function and help reduce the risk of digestive discomfort. Probiotics pass through the stomach and small intestine and are then functional within the hindgut. They cannot colonise the hindgut and so need fed daily for sustained results.
Antioxidants: A combination of powerful antioxidants such as Vitamin C and E, Selenium, chelated Copper and Zinc are included to support and maintain a healthy immune system, which maximises the ability to support and aid healthy joint function.
Apple Flavouring: A spiced apple flavouring is included to tempt fussy feeders.

Delivery & Returns
We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
