The Heat Pad

Using - The Heat Pad

1. Plus the cable of the Heat Pad into the battery

2. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to switch The Heat Pad on (the default setting is max temperature, the LED will be RED)

3. Click the button to change between the various temperatures of the pad.

4. Click through all of the settings to turn the heat pad off. Do not leave it switched on unsupervised.

Checking the remaining battery charge

When the battery is disconnected, press and hold the rued button until the LED light turns on.

Charger Indication

1. The LED light on the plug with be Red whilst the battery is charging.

2. When the battery is fully charged the LED light on the plus will turn Green.

The battery contains a Protection PCB board: Short-circuit protection function and Heat Regulating Thermostat.

For Equine Use:

The neoprene wrap can securely position the Heat Pad around the neck muscles, helping reduce stiffness around the poll area.

The surcingle fastens the pad in place onto the back or the shoulder muscles (pass it through the front legs and over the withers soothing tight muscles and increasing suppleness.

Use 15 minutes before and after a ride. 30 minutes a day to treat problem areas, such as arthritic hocks/knees or tight muscles.

For Canine Use:

The pad can be placed over ot under the dog without the need for any straps.

Either the neoprene wrap or the surcingle can be around the dog to attach the pad.

Use 30 minutes a day to treat problem areas, such as arthritic hip joints. *Times are a guide - you can use the pad as long as you like.

For Personal Use

The neoprene wrap can be used for the majority of locations on the body, especially for attachment of the heat pad to the mid and lower back areas.

The surcingle is useful for the placement of the heat pad around the shoulders.

Use 30 minutes a day for problem areas such as tight muscles or sore joints.


Temperature/Use Guide
Temperature will vary due to the environmental conditions it is used in,
1. Red LED (47°c-49°c)-used on horses and animals with a thick coat. People's knees and other joints to provide pain relief (especially arthritis) - Approx lasts 2 hours
2. Orange LED (44°c-46°c)-use on people's backs (consider using it over a thin t-shirt if you have sensitive skin to heat but can be used directly on the skin, just turn it down if it feels too warm) and clipped out horses if red is too warm for them - Approx lasts 2.5 hours
>4. Green LED (41°c-43°c)- use on people's back and if a person wishes to lay down on the pad - Approx lasts 3.5 hours
5. Flashing Green LED (37°c-40°c)-same as green above just slightly cooler - Approx lasts 6 hours
This is just a rough guide, if used on yourself drop down a setting if too warm, if used on animals make sure they aren’t too warm by carrying out regular checks, and never leave the pad unsupervised.

Usage times
Use 15-20 minutes before a ride to help cold-backed horses, and 15-20 minutes after a ride to relax.
30 minutes - 1 hour a day for treatment of a problem area on people or animals.
30 minutes a day for maintenance or relaxation sessions.
There is no maximum length of time you can leave it on.

Safety
We have safety as our first thought, the battery has a special built-in thermostat to prevent it from overheating. If the battery becomes too warm then the battery itself will turn off automatically.

How to use the Massage Ball

Heat Therapy

1. To heat the Massage Ball up simply immerse the whole ball in hot water around 60-70°C (Not boiling).

2. Leave in the hot water for 10 minutes, take the ball out, shake it and place back into the water for another 5. This is to make sure all the gel inside is evenly heated.

(Tip: When using shake every so often to redistribute the heat)

3. Wipe dry with a towel

Cold Therapy

1. To cool the Massage Ball down simple place the whole unit into the freezer for 1 hour max.

3. Place the ball into cold water for 15 minutes if you don't have access to a freezer. (This won't be as cold as placing into a freezer.)

How to use

Turn on and off

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the display lights up. Do the same to turn off.

Turn on the heat

Press the temperature button to turn on the heat.

Protection & Display

Temperature Display

Each individual finger will read a temperature on the top of the dispaly, this will vary + - 3 degress depending on the environmental conditions.

Temperature Control

The temperature will start off at 36°C to increase the temperature click the button, each click will increase the temperature 1 degree. Maxiumum temputure 53 degrees.

Decrease temperature

Press and hold the button until it reaches 53 degrees and one more click will restart the temperature to 36 degrees.

Finger tips

Only the tips of the metal fingers, past the white band will get hot.

Protective cover and case

Used to protect the metal finers when not in use. Please remove the plastic guard while in use. Store wand in protective case.

Other Features

Microvibration

Press the button on the top right to turn on, starts on the lowest setting of the 3 settings available, simply click through each one. Click after the highest setting will turn the vibration off.

Infrared Light

Press the button on the the top left to turn on and press again to turn off.

Pause

Vibration and light therapy simply click the power button once. This won't pause the heat.

Charging the wand

At the bottom of the device is the USB port. USB charging cable supplied and leave on charge for 3-4 hourse until the light stop flashing red and green.

When fully charged the light will stay green.

The batter lasts for 2-3 hours depending on the temperature and other settings use.

Where to use

Gently massage the heated metal fingers into the tight muscles on the body of horses and humans (also suitable for dogs), to relax them.

It can be used in many areas but is particually helpful in the neck, back, shoulder and legs.

The wand can be useful for tight muscles, and helps to aid relaxation and reduce stress.
