Prolite Girths
Prolite girths are measured in the standard buckle end-to-buckle end way. It is a non-elasticated design.
If you are considering changing girths - measure the girth your horse currently wears as girths stretch over time especially those that are elasticated at one or both ends.
These girths due to their shape so tend to come up shorter than expected when on the horse, they are a neat fit, if you are between sizes size up.
Our returns team report that if they get a Prolite long girth back for an exchange it is usually to go up one size.

Details
The Prolite Short Girth is manufactured under license from Fairfax Saddles Ltd's intellectual property rights. Designed, tested and scientifically proven using pressure mapping and gait analysis to improve the horse's freedom of movement with up to 33% improvement in forelimb protraction and range of motion, suitable for use with dressage and monoflap jump saddles.
Uniquely contoured to avoid the sensitive area behind the elbow with strategically placed cushioning allows the front edge of the girth to "float" and allow the horse's muscles to move underneath it, rather than being blocked by it improving front leg extension, reducing pressure and increasing hock flexion. The patented combination of the contour and the cushioning creates a "buffer zone" which prevents a "hard" edge and allows the horse greater freedom of movement.
The Prolite Short Standard Girth is antibacterial, hypoallergenic, easy to clean and maintain and features a central buckle for martingale or breastplate attachment.

Delivery & Returns
We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
