Details
The PS Of Sweden Pioneer Bridle features a unique dropped noseband that is highly adjustable to allow a perfect fit. With an anatomically shaped headpiece for comfort and cheek pieces with patented elastic cradles which are designed so you can easily hook them on and off. Recommended for horses that are young or inexperienced need extra support and stabilisation or travel inverted.
The noseband's height is adjustable in position for fit allowing the sensitive Infraorbital nerve at the horse's cheekbone to be free of pressure and also to reduce the risk of the bit locking. The cross-sectional design of the noseband helps to keep the cheek pieces away from the horse's eyes. In the noseband's highest position, it works as an English noseband but with Pioneer's other benefits. The noseband has rawhide on the inside to hold its shape and also features a built-in soft pillow to increase the noseband's stability.
The cheekpieces of the Pioneer bridle have patented and selectable elastic Cradles™, which allows the bit to suspend in the horse’s mouth and are designed so you can easily hook them on and off. They also help to even the pressure across the poll.
Made in eco-friendly vegetable-tanned leather and is suitable for jumping, dressage and eventing. Approved to compete with both FEI, USEF/USDF for jumping and cross country when the noseband closed traditionally. BD on horse and pony with a throatlash.
Please note there is a throatlash available to purchase separately for this bridle with light stitch detailing to match here.
Update to design 2020 - this bridle no longer comes with a clip to close the noseband.

Delivery & Returns
We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.
UK Orders
- Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
- UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
- UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
- UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.
- UK Saturday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm.
- UK Sunday Delivery - is £11.50 - Order before Friday 3pm. We do not have a weekend collection so orders placed on Saturday for Sunday will be for the following Sunday.
- UK Non-Mainland Delivery is £3.95 under £50, or £8.50 on orders over £50 this is due to higher cost of shipping
- Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail and usually take 1-4 days from the point of order to arrive during normal levels of activity.
- *Some products must be shipped via DPD courier due to delivery restrictions, these are marked on our website as Courier or Free Click & Collect eg long items over 62cm, heavy items over 5kg and air canisters.
- Large, heavy or multiple items are delivered by DPD (signature required)
- A DPD Next Day Delivery service is available to the majority of mainland UK at a cost of £5.95 Monday to Thursday. Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Thursday) to qualify. Orders placed after 3pm on DPD Next Day will be dispatched the following day. Orders placed after Friday 3pm and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. We do not get collections from DPD or Royal Mail on Bank Holidays. Our courier does not deliver on Bank Holidays.
- Saturday and Sunday named day delivery is £11.50 and available to most UK Mainland postcodes (excludes Highlands and Islands). Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday, please note our courier does not collect from us at the weekend so orders must also be placed by 3pm on Friday.
- Postcodes ineligible for Next Day/Saturday Delivery – All Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, AB31-56, EI, F17-21, G83, GY9, HS1-9, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-78, PH15-99, TR21-25, ZE.
International Orders
- Standard Europe delivery is £9.50.
- Standard Worldwide delivery is £25.00 - please note there may be additional charges depending on the size and weight of your parcel and the location of delivery.
- Standard delivery prices for overseas orders are estimates only and in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to fulfil your order for the quoted price, if this is the case you will be contacted by email
